This window was above a pizza shop on Smith Street in Fitzroy. We were having a bite to eat after buying my brand new camera bag from the Crumpler store (in case you didn't know...they are an Australian company) and this was across the street.
I just kind of liked the color along with the peeling paint. Yeah, the wire is kind of distracting...in a city with a tram system, they're hard to avoid.

From Hanging Rock, about an hour outside of Melbourne.

We decided to hop in the car on Sunday to check this area out (and let Leslie give her new camera a workout). It was really a great place to wander around. The rock formations were fascinating.

The weather was a little overcast so we'll have to try going back when it is sunny.

I forget exactly what type of turtle/tortoise this was, but he was really, really small. From the reptile house at the Melbourne Zoo.

This was the one of those thrill rides where the arm swings people around in a huge circle. I caught it just as it passed in front of the sun a the Royal Melbourne Show.

It's the weekend (at least here)...time to relax:
