As I continue to celebrate that we get another Star Wars Celebration in 2012, here's another photos from Celebration V in Orlando, FL back in 2012. This was a wide shot from the amazing R2 Builders room.
I spotted this well-dressed Tusken and his Mando friend as they took a break from the fun at Star Wars Celebration V in Orlando, FL back in 2010. Celebration VI is coming up this year and the buzz is starting to grow online. I'll be sharing some more photos from previous events in the coming days and weeks.
A few other websites out there have been posting this video of mine so I figured I might as well put it on my own site too!
This shows several of the very talented voice actors from Star Wars The Clone Wars doing what they do best during a panel at Star Wars Celebration V in Orlando.
Featured in this are Tom Kane (voice of Yoda) doing his spot-on Morgan Freeman voice and James Arnold Taylor (Obi-Wan Kenobi) doing a LOT of other impressions.
Even if you are not a Star Wars fan, take a few minutes and watch this. It is very impressive what these guys can do.
As part of the festivities for Star Wars Celebration V in Orlando last week, fans could also buy tickets to the Last Tour to Endor event at Disney's Hollywood Studios. That party was to celebrate the closing (and redesigning) of the Star Tours ride that has been around for 20 or so years.
Part of this celebration, as you'd expect, included fireworks. While I wasn't too impressed with the fireworks (and the Star Wars music and clips they chose to accompany it) at the time, I did at least get a few photos I was happy with.
Here it is, my time lapse video of the 501st Legion group photo at Star Wars Celebration V in Orlando Florida. I took about 1200 photos total to create this.
Yeah, it's kind of strange as a photo tip on a photo blog, but there are times when you just need to take your face away from the camera and enjoy what's happening.
I constantly remind myself when I have my camera with me to make sure that I'm not so busy looking for and taking photos that I essentially miss the event and everything else around me. Stop shooting and take a moment to just watch and listen to the stuff going on around you.
